Can I authorize someone to do the home orientation
in my behalf?
Yes, if you, as the identified “Purchaser” named In the Agreement of Purchase & Sale, cannot for whatever reason make the home orientation appointment made with the CSR you may send a proxy to act on your behalf. In this case it is vital that you have a Power of Attorney notarized naming your nominated proxy and that your proxy must bring this Power of Attorney to the home orientation appointment. We will not be able to carry out the handover process if your proxy attends the home orientation appointment without a notarized Power of Attorney.
